Is this yoga ball thick enough to support heavy weights?
Yes. Engineered with a multi-layer honeycomb structure, the 2mm thick PVC shell is rigorously tested to support a static weight of up to 300 kg (660 lbs). It remains remarkably stable even during vigorous exercises like weighted crunches.
I am exactly 160 cm tall. Should I choose the 55cm or 65cm ball?
If you are exactly on the borderline (160 cm), we generally recommend sizing up to the 65cm ball. A slightly larger ball provides better stability and allows for a wider range of motion, especially if you plan to use it as a desk chair. As a general guide: 55cm for under 160cm, 65cm for 160–175cm, 75cm for 175–185cm.
Does the ball have a strong plastic smell when unboxed?
Because we use strictly SGS-certified, heavy-metal-free, and phthalate-free PVC, the "new product smell" is very minimal and non-toxic. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth and leave it in a ventilated room for a few hours, and any residual scent will dissipate.
How does the "Anti-Burst" feature work in reality?
If the ball is accidentally pierced by a sharp object (like a nail or broken glass), the specialized honeycomb matrix prevents it from popping suddenly. Instead, the air escapes very slowly, giving you ample time to step off safely.
How hard should the ball be inflated?
For optimal performance, the ball should feel firm but yield slightly when you press into it. When you sit on it, your knees should be at a 90-degree angle or slightly lower than your hips. Tip: Inflate to 80% on day one, wait 24 hours for the material to stretch, then top it off to full size. Check air pressure monthly if used as an office chair.
Can I use this ball outdoors?
While the matte finish is highly durable, we recommend using it primarily indoors to protect the PVC from sharp rocks, thorns, or extreme sun exposure, which can degrade the material over time. For cleaning, simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap — avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
